Kuala Lumpur branch is the regional underwriting office for all markets in ASEAN, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. Effective 1 January 2021, Hannover Re Malaysian Branch will assume the market responsibility for Japan and Korea.
Our facultative portfolio consists of Property, Engineering, Power, Energy Onshore/Offshore, Liability and Casualty business for a variety of different industries mainly with special interest on personal/commercial line products.
The risks we look at are Single Risk Placement of Large and/or Specialized category and Rapport/Facility/Scheme Placements.
We are always receptive to new ideas with adequate premium volume and new innovative products.
We are open to cedants and brokers with good potential with whom we aim to establish a personal contact on a regular basis.
We have regional managers handling their own portfolio from different countries who are specialized in their own field.
